Where exactly is Slow Down Homestay?
Tanote Bay, on the east side of Koh Tao. Five minutes' walk down the hill to the beach, restaurants, and dive shops. The house is right next to KD Genetics — there's a small steep road leading up with a sign at the entrance.
How do I get there from the pier?
Mae Haad pier to Tanote Bay is a 10-minute scooter taxi ride. I can recommend a driver, or you can grab one at the pier — around ฿200 per person. If you have heavy bags, take a songthaew (shared truck taxi) for a similar price.
Is the booking confirmed instantly?
Yes. Once payment is processed by Stripe, your booking is confirmed and I'll send you a personal message with arrival details, the exact pin location, and any tips you need.
What payment methods do you accept?
Card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) via secure Stripe checkout — that's the default in the booking widget. If you'd rather pay in THB, message me on WhatsApp or LINE (ID: kevinlimsakul) and I'll send a PromptPay or Thai bank transfer link, also processed through Stripe. No platform fees on top either way.
Can I check in late or check out late?
Standard check-in is from 2 PM and check-out by noon. Need a different time? Message me on WhatsApp before you arrive — I almost always make it work.
Is breakfast included?
No, but you have a kitchen with the basics, and there are small cafés a few minutes' walk down the hill. I'm happy to point you to the best ones for coffee or a fruit bowl.
Can I bring my pet?
Yes, well-behaved pets are welcome. Just let me know in advance so I can prepare the space.
Is the Wi-Fi good enough to work from?
Yes. Both units have fast fibre Wi-Fi. Plenty of guests work remotely from the terrace or kitchen table.
How many people can each unit fit?
Unit 1 (the upstairs home) sleeps up to 4 with two bedrooms. Unit 2 (the downstairs studio) sleeps 2.
Can I book both units together for a group?
Absolutely. If you book both for the same dates, you essentially have the entire house. Message me directly and I'll set it up.
